ELDEN RING: How to Leave the Sellia Crystal Tunnel Area Guide

5 Min Read

So, you’ve finally defeated Flying Dragon Agheel, explored a little bit, and then found a chest that teleported you somewhere. Excited to explore a new area, you go out and fight the first foe you come across, only to find out that your weapon clinks off of their armor, and you might as well be fighting them with a feather. Any attempt at teleporting out is futile since you’re locked out of doing so. It also doesn’t help that if you run down the wrong path, you come across easily one of the most demanding bosses in the game — the Fallingstar Beast.

At this point, I was stumped on where to go, what to do, and how to do it. Well, fear not! I found my way out after running around aimlessly, and I’ve made a video sure to guide you straight out of that hellhole. You might die in escaping because of a guard NPC that shoots some spikes in your direction; in the video, I fail to avoid the points, but you should be able to save yourself any damage with enough rolls.

Alternatively, leaving while crouched (something I didn’t do in the video) shouldn’t trigger the foe that shoots spikes, allowing you to leave without taking any damage. I recommend teleporting out of the area since Carian is too high for you to beat right now; any enemy you find there will obliterate you. Leave Carian (and the Sellia Crystal Tunnel) for later, when you’re supposed to face it.

You’ll want to run out of the shack and hug the right wall until you are behind it. Once you are, hug the cavern wall to the left instead and begin rolling until you are through the hole; I stopped moving and got hit. Once you’ve made it through, jump down where you’ll find a Site of Grace you can rest before running through the tunnel until you’ve made it outside.

Elden Ring aims to do one thing, pit players against seemingly impossible and blatantly unfair odds. From beginning to end, this game pushes the limits of players and punishes them for every mistake, no matter how insignificant it may seem. Such a ruthless demeanor towards players garners Elden Ring much popularity and infamy. This attitude also inspired the creation of things like trapped chests and seemingly harmless treasure boxes bearing a nasty surprise for unsuspecting players.

How do I leave sellia town of Sorcery?

Travel through Sellia, Town of Sorcery, taking care to avoid the Sorcerers you encounter along the way, and up the staircase at the end of the main street. This is the exit from Sellia, Town of Sorcery, out to Sellia Backstreets and the Church of the Plague, where you’ll find Millicent.

How do you open the door in sellia?

There are three blue sealed doors within Sellia, Town of Sorcery. Each is tied to a tower with a brazier on top throughout the town. If you scale a building and light the fire on top, you’ll unlock the matching door in the city, receiving the message: “A seal was broken in town somewhere.

How do you light the three towers in sellia?

Grab the Redmane Painting (you can find the ghost’s location explained here), then use Torrent to jump on the roof on the right side. Turn around to see the first Elden Ring Sellia Candle Tower (pictured below). Climb the stairs to reach it and light the candle.

I hope this was useful! I had to run around like a headless chicken and had the misfortune of finding the boss instead of the exit, meaning I got beat around like a ragdoll, so I decided to make a guide to prevent anyone from struggling with the same.
