The Lush Jungle event in Pokémon Go features its own set of Timed Research tasks. Completing them will give players extra rewards and experience points. The Lush Jungle event is the second section of the current Season of Alola. With Pokémon from the Alola region making their Pokémon Go debut throughout the entire season, the roster of available Pokémon continues to grow.

This time around, trainers can get their hands on Fomantis, a Grass-type Pokémon from Pokémon Sun and Moon. Its evolutionary form, Lurantis, is also present in the game and will evolve after being exposed to 50 Fomantis candy during the day.

This event focuses on increasing the spawn rate of all Grass-type Pokémon. This includes Exeggcute, Bellsprout, and the opportunity to capture a Shiny Cottonee in Pokémon Go if trainers are lucky enough. Not only that, but Tapu Lele, one of the guardian deity Pokémon, will appear in five-star raid battles. There are tons to look forward to during the Lush Jungle event, but the most important might be its Timed Research tasks.

Fomantis will appear in the wild more often during the Lush Jungle event, so catch as many as you can while the event is active. Once it’s over, the Fomantis spawn rate will return to normal, making them harder to find. Aside from all the XP, the big reward here is the Pokemon Go Mossy Lure module. Placing it at a PokéStop will increase the spawn rate of all Grass, Poison, and Bug-type Pokémon for 30 minutes. Eevee can also evolve into Leafeon while the player is within the radius of a Mossy Lure Module. Complete these tasks before they are removed from Pokémon Go.
