The best settings for Ghostrunner 2 on consoles and PC in general
When you play Ghostrunner 2 on a computer, there aren’t many settings you can change. It’s best to play in performance mode because Ghostrunner 2 is a fast-paced action game that needs you to be quick and accurate.
So, go to the video tab and change the quality mode to performance. If you have a VRR TV or monitor, change it to high performance so that it can support 120Hz.
The field of view is the next choice. The setting is 85, and I suggest that you change it to a number between 105 and 115. It goes up to 120, which is fine, but it made me feel a little lost. I use 110. The default is fine, but at the smaller FoV, you miss out on a lot of screen information. That will be useful later on when there are a lot of enemies on the screen. You can avoid strikes and other things better if you can see more of them.
Best settings for Ghostrunner 2 for pro controllers
The only thing I don’t like about Ghostrunner 2 is how the powers are mapped. The d-pad is linked to every new ability you unlock, which could be a pain because you have to take your thumb off the left stick to switch between abilities. If you take away that stick, your figure will stop moving, which is very important in Ghostrunner 2.
You’ll need to assign those d-pad functions to each back paddle if you have a PlayStation Edge, an Xbox Elite Series, or a third-party controller with two or four paddles. The Edge and Elite Series only come with two paddles, so you have to choose which two skills you want. You can change how they work in-game, so you don’t have to keep changing the controller settings.
Ghostrunner 2 Best Settings on PC
Based on the system requirements, Ghostrunner 2 shouldn’t be too hard to run. If you have an Nvidia card from the 3000 series or higher, it should work fine. To scale AI, you can use AMD FSR 2.0, DLSS, or Intel XeSS. If you want to get 60 FPS on an Nvidia card, stick with DLSS on either quality or balance.
Besides that, this is what I found to be the most stable FPS on a 4090 card.

Even though a 4090 should be able to handle everything on Epic, we did run into some problems near the end of the game. Some things were turned up to high, which seems to have made things more stable and steady.
RTX 3080 and up should be able to handle these settings, but if you want to go for native 4K, you might need to lower some of them based on the resolution.

Ghostrunner 2 is interesting because it has three different game modes: Quality, Performance, and High Frame Rate. In Quality mode, the image is shown at a high quality, and in High Frame Rate mode, the frame rate is more than 60 FPS. Performance, on the other hand, is somewhere in the middle, with a steady 60 FPS goal.

- Quality: Dynamic 4K (2160p) resolution with 30 FPS target. The frame rate cap can be unlocked to reach up to 60 FPS.
- Performance: Dynamic 4K (2160p) resolution with a 60 FPS target
- High Frame Rate: Dynamic 1080p resolution with a 120 FPS target
Perhaps unexpectedly, both bigger home consoles offer similar performance metrics. So players can go for either system. The Series S, meanwhile, has an interesting turnout.
