Ghost of Tsushima Update 2.05 Patch Notes

3 Min Read

Update 2.05 for Ghost of Tsushima is here, and here is the full list of changes and fixes added in this patch. On PlayStation 5, this update is version 2.005.000. On both PS4 and PS4, this update weighs around 100MB, so it shouldn’t take too long to download. Since this is just a minor patch (and the game received a major Director’s Cut update a few days ago), don’t expect any major news. Everything here is new with Ghost of Tsushima Update 2.05.

Ghost of Tsushima Update 2.05 Patch Notes

There are currently no official patch notes for the Ghost of Tsushima Update 2.05. We’ll update this article as soon as Sucker Punch releases patch notes. All we need to get rid of are the generic patch notes from the PS4 home screen, but these don’t tell us much. The following has changed:

  • General bug fixes and improvements

Due to its small size and the fact that it was not announced in advance, this update likely only contains minor bug fixes and stability improvements for Ghost of Tsushima. The Director’s Cut was released along with the Iki Island expansion just a few days ago, and Sucker Punch likely released this patch to address some of the minor issues players have encountered with the new content. Along with Iki Island, the Director’s Cut update also added the ability to replay duels, track enemies, and more.

Ghost of Tsushima is expected to receive another major update around the multiplayer Legends mode on September 3rd. Ghost of Tsushima Legends will have a standalone release for PS4 and PS5 players that day, and a new mode called Rivals will be added to the game. A new equipment mastery system will also be implemented, which will allow players to charge their equipment beyond the current level cap. Legends will also get weekly updates in September, including a new Rivals map, new survival maps, and a tougher version of last year’s raid that offers challenges in bite-sized chunks.

Spirit of Tsushima is now available for PS4 and PS5. Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut was recently released for both systems, and you can read our review here.
