Black Ops Cold War Season 4 is preparing for launch and that means the usual introduction of two new weapons. The C58 attack is one of those weapons ready to earn its place in player loadouts.
The fully automatic C58 is described as “high damage at close range with a slower rate of fire”, paired with “faster projectile speed and reliable recoil control with lower ammunition capacity”. Based on this description, it is difficult to say whether the high damage is enough to offset the high rate of fire of the FARA 83 and place this weapon under the meta AR selection.
Now we come to getting the new assault rifle ready for use.
How to unlock the C58
The C58 is the second new weapon included in Season 4 Battle Pass and unlocked upon reaching Level 31. The weapon is available for both free and paid tracks in the Battle Pass. COD points are not required to place the assault rifle in any of your custom loadouts. However, the Battle Pass can be purchased for 1,000 COD points. If you opt for the 2,400 COD Points Battle Pass, 20 levels are skipped, which closes the gap to the C58 a good deal.
If a bigger boost is desired, additional tiers can be purchased for 150 COD points each. Bridging the gap by buying the remaining tiers directly costs 1,650 COD points. Whether or not it is worth buying almost 1/3 of the Battle Pass depends on the player.
