Where to Find King Rhino – Economic Stimulus

There are lots of rare items and wildlife to be found Monster Hunter Risewith the elusive King rhinoceros Failure to be one of them. This collector’s dream insect is very rare in the area and is usually found in very hard-to-reach places. It is mainly searched to complete a side quest, although it is very important. You can find more information about this later in this guide.

Where to find king rhinoceros, which is needed in search of economic revitalization

Monster Hunter Rise’s flooded forest is full of endemic life as the environment really demands it. Areas with waterfalls, underground caves, lush greenery and a giant pyramid, everything can be found there. Including the bug we’re looking for, the King Rhino.

King Rhino is required to complete part of a side quest called Economic Stimulation. The quest is triggered after completing the 3 * Gathering Hub Key Quest and then the 4 * Urgent Quest. There are many side quests in the game, but this one is especially important as it unlocks an additional Argosy submarine. If you’ve unlocked the other through village quests, it’s three in total.

That said, let’s see how you can find this insect. Easier said than done as it rarely appears in the easily accessible regions of the map, such as behind the pyramid where we are (see image above). If you are lucky you can spawn in the trees in this area, as in many other places around the flooded forest.

One surefire way to get a king rhinoceros in Monster Hunter Rise is to literally climb the pyramid to the top. This is a really difficult task as it requires precise parkouring combined with your wirebug skills. First you need to climb the stairs at the entrance until you reach an empty room. If you turn up the camera you will see that the ceiling has a hole in the middle. You have to go through this hole to reach the floor above.

In order to achieve this, there are several ways to be successful. What I did was ride my palamute, run to the wall of this empty room, then jump with my hunter and aim my wirebug at the hole above. I used two wirebug shots in conjunction with additional jumps. So of course, if you have a third one, this is much easier. Then, after you get to the upper floor, you will reach the exit. There will be a dead end all the way down from where you started. Don’t jump down, we’ll climb even higher.

From that exit, here is the hard part. You need to aim your camera as best as you can and aim it at the top of the pyramid. While aiming your camera there, jump off the edge of the exit and use your wirebug to get across that exit to a ledge that it has. From there, refill your wirebugs and do exactly the same to reach the top platform.

If you manage to do all of these platforms correctly, you will finally reach the top of the pyramid. While there doesn’t seem to be anything here, you’ll notice a cracked wall if you pay close enough attention to it. This wall can be destroyed by placing some barrel bombs. Just be careful not to get caught in the explosion. After the wall is broken, you can finally enter the last room of the pyramid, which not only houses a relic, but also the legendary king rhinoceros on one of the walls. Every time I visited this place there was one which most likely made it a 100% chance to show up.

That concludes our guide on how to find yourself a king rhino. While a lot of effort goes into reaching this flaw, it is definitely worth it as you are now one step closer to a third sub.
