Pokémon GO Great League and Great League Remix Tier List (April 2021)

The Big league is about to return Pokémon GO but this time it brings a friend in the form of Great league remix. Both leagues will be a major challenge for players as the remix changes the meta and shakes up the big leaderboards. To help you choose a full team of the best Pokémon for the GO Battle League arenas, we’ve put together an updated Pokémon GO Great League and Great League Remix leaderboards for April 2021.

Pokémon GO Great League Animal List – April 2021

The rules for the Pokémon GO Great League are simple. Two Trainers compete with a team of three Pokémon at or below 1500 CP, and the last trainer standing wins. There are of course a lot of metagames associated with simple rules. In April 2021, for example, we put together our complete ranking of the Great League for Pokémon GO. The players will be divided into three categories and looking for the top levels will want to tinker their team.

Of course, type matchups are even more important than raw performance and moveset in many cases. Hence, you need to weigh your choices carefully. Just picking the three best characters is not enough as your opponent can counter you. So try to look up the “Resistances to” and “Weak to” fields to compare your choices and form a team that does not have any major weaknesses to exploit. Here is our Great League leaderboard for April 2021.
Note: if this option is marked with (XL), you will need to turn it on with Candy XL to achieve this potential. Without this, they’re usually still good choices, but if they’re far from the 1500 XP cap you’ll either want to turn them on more or look for other options.
