Hello Games released update 3.41 yesterday, but another new patch for No Man’s Sky will be released today. On PS4 the patch is version 3.42, but on PS5 it should show up as version number 03.042.000. Regardless of the number, the patch should work the same on all platforms, including PC and Xbox consoles.
Hello Games found that they were listening to player feedback, which is why these updates were released so frequently. If there are more bugs, players will be asked to submit one Error Report.

No Man’s Sky Update 3.42 patch notes
- Fixed an issue that could prevent the Galaxy Map from drawing a path to targets for remote missions.
- A recovery fix has been implemented for players affected by a previous issue where the correct options were removed from Nada and Polo. Specialist Polo now always provides directions to an Atlas Station or a black hole.
- Fixed an issue that could prevent the Collective Consciousness Milestone from being marked complete after purchasing the Myth Beacon.
