NieR was originally released in 2010, with both versions in Japan and the one in the West. Regardless of which version you played, there were only four endings you could get in the game: A, B, C, and D. The new version, known as NieR Replicant Version 1.22474487139, wasn’t just in new story content, however added The story is part of the path, but has also added an extra ending that ends entirely with Ending E. Knowing how to get Ending E isn’t very obvious. This guide shows you how.
How to get the ending E.
Now one of the most important measures of the Nier series is to delete your game data in some way. In the case of Nier Replicant, this happens when you quit the game and get Ending D and your data is completely erased. Of course there are three memory slots so you can save your other data, but the slot you play in will be completely erased.
To get Ending E you have to start a new game from this slot and also use a different name. At this point, play through the first few hours of the game as you did before, as if you were doing a direct replay of the game. You have to continue playing with Kainé until the second fight against the giant shadow in the Aerie. After defeating this boss, the game will go a different path than before. From there, just keep playing and you will be able to get Ending E within a couple of hours of that point.
