While the focus is in Monster Hunter Rise is to hunt down giant monsters and skin them to make cool looking armor that even the smaller creatures can do their job with Kestodon some of them are in great demand. If you ask why, it’s simply because they are part of a side quest to complete your Sandy Plains sub-camp. For more information and to see where Kestodons are, check out our guide below.
Where can I find Kestodon in Monster Hunter Rise?
At some point during your adventure you will unlock a specific side quest. If you complete it, you can set up an additional camp in Sandy Plains. To trigger this quest, you must first find the location where the camp is located on the respective map. If you haven’t found it yet, here is an image to save you time:
The red marking shows the exact position. As long as you find the job, you should be good. The quest itself is very easy as all you have to do is kill 8 Kestodons in the Sandy Plains biome. If you do this, the new sub-repository will be available immediately afterwards.
Now let’s talk about the reason you’re here. Where exactly are those damn Kestodon monsters? Simply put, everywhere. They can appear in almost any section or region of the map. So if you walk around in circles for less than 5 minutes, you will find 8 of them in no time. However, if you are in a rush and want to save important time, you should find it in Region 2 and in the middle of Region 5 and 9, which is where the thumbnail screenshot is also taken. It happens very often that a herd is found there. So take them out and look for the other 2 or 3 that you are going to miss.
And there and how do you find Kestodon in Monster Hunter Rise. Simple goals, simple search. Please note that only Kestodons in Sandy Plains are counted towards completing the quests, not other cards. Have fun with your new camp.
