Monster Hunter can be very difficult not only to master but to jump in the first place due to its complexity. This is mainly due to the variety of weapons that you can choose from, each one being treated differently from the others. Each type has different advantages and disadvantages that you have to choose between when deciding on the new Monster Hunter Rise. Some of these weapons can block enemy attacks and some cannot. So it is very important to know what weapons can block and how to do it in Monster Hunter Rise.
How to block
There are 14 different weapons that you can use in Monster Hunter Rise, which means you have to learn how to use each of them. You have your fast guns that don’t do that much damage, your slow guns that do more damage, and the ones in between. Not only can you attack with each of them, but they all have special abilities that are specific to that weapon.
Blocking is something that isn’t available for every weapon in the game, but there are some that can use it. Specifically, these weapons are the Great Sword, Sword & Shield, Gunlance, and Charge Blade. Unfortunately, you have no way of blocking the other 10 weapons at all.
For the four who can block, this is very easy. If you have any of these four weapons, all you have to do is hold down ZR to protect with your weapon and protect yourself from harm. This can be of great help in battles to protect against strong attacks. Therefore, it is a good idea for gamers to find out if it is worth choosing one of these weapons for this reason.
