MLB The Show 21 – What is CFD Drain?

MLB The Show is the most realistic baseball simulator in the industry that takes into account the many intricacies of the sport and incorporates them into the game. This includes the different skills for the players and how certain things affect them. Most of these are pretty self explanatory, but one that is pretty confusing if you aren’t sure what it is is called a CFD Drain. This guide explains what exactly this means in MLB The Show 21.

What is CFD Drain?

As in real life, pitchers are affected by a number of different elements that can make them toss less effectively. This can be just persistence or trust on the hill. In fact, CFD is a statistic on MLB The Show 21 that represents trust, which has been the case on the series for years.

However, there is some news here known as the CFD Drain, which may confuse you a little. While playing in MLB The Show 21, you may find that there is a CFD outflow during this time. This means your pitcher is not as effective. This can lead to a missed placement of parking spaces, which can result in you offering us home runs and the like.

As you can imagine, pitching well would prevent you from losing confidence, while pitching poorly would damage your confidence in the game. The good news is that you can help fight this in RTTS mode by improving your relationships with your teammates. That way, you can start a game with a negative CFD drain which will help make it less fast. This can really help you during those high intensity moments when you need the perfect pitch to get out of an inning as well.
