Marvel’s Avengers Update 1.29 Patch Notes

Update 1.29 has arrived for Marvel’s Avengers. Here is the full list of changes and fixes added in this patch. Hawkeye recently joined the Avengers roster along with a brand new operation called Future Imperfect. Crystal Dynamics also released a roadmap for future Avengers content earlier this month. This patch includes a new feature the team promised: the ability to replay the campaign. A new type of mission called Flashback Missions has also been added to the game. Everything is new here with Marvel’s Avengers Update 1.29.

Marvel’s Avengers Update 1.29 Patch Notes

  • NEW FEATURES
    • Flashback Missions – Flashback Missions change daily and can only be completed once a day. The rewards of these missions now include legendary equipment if the hero is over power level 100.
      • The equipment slots are determined by the rotating mission for that day. For example, the “Along Came a Spider” mission grants either a legendary item with a ranged or melee slot. While the Mission “Defective Identity” grants a Defense or Heroic Legendary item from the same set the next day.
  • ASSEMBLING THE CAMPAIGN & RACHER INITIATIVE
    • If you replay the assembly campaign, you can now safely drive to the anthill before you get there.
    • Fixed an issue where after Anchor Points on Xbox One X the movie would not trigger, which would stop progression.
    • Trophy progress will now properly transfer between PS4 and PS5 using the game save migration. However, this only fixes new backup migrations. Players who have already migrated their rescue can do one of the following to obtain the missing trophy.
      • Migrate again and get trophies on their PS5, but anyone who does will lose all progress made on their PS5 except since the migration.
      • Earn their trophies again on PS5 and keep track of their current progress.
    • Objects no longer overlap and block player progress during the home visit mission.
    • The Hawkeyes Mission Outro no longer hangs on a still image for an extended period of time before progressing.
    • Enemies now correctly appear in customizable HARM rooms when players use the “Reset HARM Room” option from the pause menu before initiating an initial battle.
    • Fixed an issue in By Force of Mind where the mission could not continue after defeating all Dreadbot and Adaptoid enemies as Captain America.
    • Players can no longer go out of line without being hit during the Days of Anger mission to attack Maestro.
    • Various crash, screen, and performance fixes.
  • MULTIPLAYER & MATCHMAKING
    • Members of the strike team will now see a rock face in the Mission Days of Anger before entering Maestro’s hideout at the same time as the hosting player.
    • Various matchmaking optimizations and improvements.
  • USER INTERFACE
    • Enable and Disable will now properly display when selecting takedowns.
    • Tutorials and Message of the Day notifications no longer overlap.
  • STRUGGLE
    • Fixed a bug that sometimes caused enemies to float in mid-air when stunned near a wall.
  • GEAR, CHALLENGES, AND REWARDS
    • Hero-specific gear has been added to activities that previously rewarded overwhelming gear at higher skill levels.
      • Rogue Sectors – Now drops legendary equipment previously found in elite rogue sectors for heroes above power level 100.
  • KNOWN PROBLEMS
    • Days of anger and symphony in a gamma key sometimes do not appear.
