How to Get Bird Wyvern Gem

The Vogel Wyvern Gem is one of the rarer materials in Monster Hunter Riseand can only be found in high-ranking hunts. Fortunately, they’re not tied to a single monster like Teller, making them easier to manage (even if their drop chance is really worse). The best thing about Bird Wyvern Gems? You can start farming them once you reach a high rank.

Breed the Bird Wyvern Gem by killing high ranking Bird Wyvern in Monster Hunter Rise.

The Bird Wyvern Gem in Monster Hunter Rise is one of the first rare materials to farm upon reaching high-level hunts. You’ll need to gain access to 4-star hub quests to take on these tougher monsters. So be ready for a fight.

The Bird Wyvern Gem falls from Bird Wyverns. It’s in the name. There are a few of these, and the majority are among the monsters that are easier to deal with in Monster Hunter Rise. Despite the low drop rate, the Bird Wyvern Gem isn’t all that hard to come by if you take the time to massacre every single Bird Wyvern on the map during a hunt.

On the whole, you want to break as many pieces as possible on a bird wyvern for the gem and you have a better chance of grabbing one if you capture the monster rather than killing it. Yes, you may be lucky at the carving, but capturing is the better method.
