One of Raz’s new Spire Challenges in Fortnite Season 6 requires you to get a Cult Talisman from a Guardian, and that’s not an easy task. You may have seen these powerful beings roam the new areas of the map. They attack all players who approach, but those skilled enough to defeat them will be rewarded with powerful equipment. It’s an exciting risk reward for experienced players, but the challenge has remained optional until now. Now you have no choice but to put one down if you want to continue the new line of quests. Here’s how to get a Cult Talisman from a Guardian for Raz in Fortnite.
How to get a cult talisman from a guardian
Guardians drop Cult Talismans when defeated. You can find guardians at the six mini spiers that surround the main tower in the center of the map. More precisely, they are at the end of the orange parts of the map that protrude from the tower in the center of the island.
Guards slowly patrol the area around the towers. They are not trying to hide from people and they will engage by sight making them hard to miss. Make sure you are prepared when you approach one. They have a lot of health and shields and are usually equipped with epic or legendary gear. It’s easier to take them out if you bring a squad, but the fight on its own is still manageable.
Once you defeat a Guardian, they will drop a Cult Talisman. It’s a small item with a purple tinge that contrasts with the normal prey these enemies drop. Just interact with it to pick it up and complete the challenge. You can also take the big loot and move on with the match as you try to work on some of the other challenges from Raz.
