Border areas 3 is no stranger to cool looking but tough raid bosses, and with the release of his new DLC pack Haemovor the Invincible Join the already large list of insane fights. The new Raid Boss is pretty much a gigantic insectoid whose name is very often mispronounced for some reason. While the real name of this creature is “Hemovorous”, the majority of the Borderland 3 community calls it “Hemivorous”. While this fact is strange in itself, it doesn’t change how relentless this boss can be and how tough the fight actually is at higher Mayhem levels. Let’s take a detailed look at this brand new enemy.
Where to find Hemovorous the Invincible and what are its drops in Borderlands 3
Hemovorous the Invincible is located on the beloved Pandora in Ascension Bluff. For those who have played the game from the start, we are finally excited to announce that the area behind the locked door that was found there and has not been able to be opened since the game started is now accessible. There have been a ton of players trying many ways to get past that door to no avail. Well, it seems we know why that door led to something that would be included in the game with this Director’s Cut DLC.
Before you unlock this path, you have to select the “You. Will. To die. (Over and over again.) ”Quest. An exclamation mark appears in Sanctuary. So just go there and interact with him. Accept the quest and go to where the quest marker is shown. Spoiler Alert: It’s the door.
If you are passing through, you will arrive at Darkthirst Dominion. You have to pay 500 Eridium to continue. The area inside can be explored further if you wish, but if you just follow the arrow you will eventually fall into a hole and face the horror called Hemovorous the Invincible.
Hemovorous the Invincible exclusive loot
As with any other raid boss, Hemovorous has a lot of items that can be dropped by him, of varying quality. But we all know that you are going for his exclusive, legendary drops. So let’s take a look at them:
- Atlas Replay – Legendary Pistol
- Ionic Disruptor – Legendary sniper
- Ringer – Legendary grenade
- Vladof Company Man – Legendary Artifact
The drop rates for each of these items are between 25 and 35% based on the players’ previous results. The only one of those Legendaries that looks like some kind of decline, again based on player data, is the Vladof Company Man. With a few runs, however, you should be able to hit any exclusive Hemovorous that can be thrown at you, depending on your Mayhem level, of course. Get on board and start farming!
