FIFA 21 online servers will be down for maintenance today (June 8th)

EA Sports has now announced that the online server for FIFA 21 will be out of service today for maintenance. This is scheduled, routine maintenance, so it won’t take very long.

The maintenance period for FIFA 21 will take place on June 8, 2021 from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. UTC. While the offline modes continue to work, you will not be able to connect to the EA servers during this time.

FIFA 21 isn’t the only game affected by this maintenance. Other titles affected are FIFA 15, FIFA 16, FIFA 17, FIFA 18, FIFA 19, and FIFA 20.

You can read the full announcement below from the FIFA Twitter Page.

“We have scheduled maintenance for June 8th from 6:00 am to 9:00 am UTC. The creation of FUT & VOLTA FOOTBALL games will be disabled 30 minutes before maintenance to avoid possible disconnections during the game.

During this time, EA servers on all platforms may be disconnected or you may not be able to do so. The following titles are affected: FIFA 15/16/17/18/19/20/21. “

That’s all for the announcement. We’ll update this post as more details are announced. FIFA 21 is now available for the PC, PS5, Xbox Series X / S, PS4, Xbox One and Google Stadia platforms.
