Dead by Daylight Update 5.0.1 patch notes
Update 5.0.1 has arrived for Dead by Daylight, and here is the full list of changes and fixes added in this patch. This update is currently being rolled out on all platforms. This is a hotfix patch that fixes a variety of bugs that affect both killers and survivors. That being said, there are some notable changes. Raccoon City Police Station has been re-enabled for custom games, but the RPD badge offering has been temporarily disabled. The developer is also aware of the performance issues that can affect some platforms. Everything is new here with Dead by Daylight Update 5.0.1.

- Fixed an issue that could cause the Nemesis’ tentacle to flicker if the tentacle strike was quickly canceled.
- Fixed an issue that prevented the Nemesis from interrupting Survivors unlocking a Reservoir.
- Fixed an issue that could cause the Bite the Bullet perk to remain active after being healed by two Survivors who had this perk at the same time.
- Fixed an issue that could result in the incorrect walk animation for The Nemesis playing in Spectator Mode in a custom game.
- Fixed an issue that caused the “Contaminate Survivor” points event to grant objective points instead of underhand points.
- Fixed an issue that could cause generator auras to display the entity’s claws after the Corrupt Intervention perk ended.
- Fixed an issue that could cause the clown’s bottles to appear to pass through survivors from the survivor’s point of view.
- Fixed an issue that could result in The Clown’s bottle smoke VFX being visible during the intro camera panning.
- Fixed an issue that could cause the player’s camera to briefly stick out of the world as The Demogorgon when drilling through the upside down from certain locations.

- The Raccoon City City Police Station Map has been re-enabled for custom games while we continue to investigate certain stability issues.
