Alien Isolation Game Play
The trailer, captured on the Switch, also confirms that the Nintendo version will come with the seven released DLC packs for the game, including the mission through which you can play as Ellen Ripley aboard USCSS Nostromo, and restore the events of the 1979 horror movie that started Alien franchise.
Alien: The isolation story occurs 15 years after the events in the first Alien movie, and one of the game’s heroes is Amanda, daughter of Ellen Ripley. It seeks to discover the truth behind Ripley’s disappearance. The game begins after Amanda is abandoned on an abandoned space station called Sevastopol, where she and some survivors are harassed by aliens.
Sevastopol Station is the place where the entire game revolves, because it is a maze of passages, tunnels and ventilation ports. Amanda and the survivors must remain undercover, crawling across regions, exploring them and finding the resources necessary to survive until help arrives. Foreigners act as you can imagine. It’s more dangerous here than movies and the player really needs to think about them to stay alive.
This game was initially launched in 2014, and until now it has invaded Microsoft Windows, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Linux, OS X and now Nintendo Switch. Here, the focus is on stealth as much as on survival, as the game atmosphere is not for the faint of heart and will get you out of the box the whole time. We need to conquer, mock and manipulate a single alien creature with only a motion sensor and a flame thrower. In this regard, the game looks like the first movie in the franchise.
